Becca Reisdorf, WGH Global Policy Associate, is responsible for managing the Gender Equal Health and Care Workforce Initiative, she is one of the focal points for WGH’s co-convener role of the UHC Alliance for Gender Equality and she represents WGH on a number of global health policy and advocacy groups. She coordinates activities related to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as attending global events and conferences and writing op-eds, blogs, and policy briefs on gender-transformative policy making and leadership. Becca Reisdorf is a global public health professional who is currently completing her Master’s in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has experience working in sexual and reproductive health, as well as maternal and child health. She has taken on roles in project management, academic research, and policy-making, as well as stakeholder engagement and grant-writing. As co-founder of the Women in Global Health chapter in Chile, she is well-versed in feminist movement building, collaborative leadership, and advocacy for health equity. She is acting Chile correspondent for the global collective, Pandemic Periods, highlighting period poverty during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
