Maisoon Chowdhury is based in Washington, DC where she supports the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative (PHCPI), a global platform that supports country efforts to achieve quality primary health care for all people. Prior to her current role, Maisoon was an Associate at the United Nations Foundation, where she supported the Executive Office and the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Having lived in four countries across three continents, Maisoon is fascinated by the convergence of grassroots movements and social justice. When Maisoon is not dreaming up the next big thing or volunteering as a birth doula, she’s hopelessly rooting for the Phoenix Suns to win a title.
Maisoon received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Arizona State University and an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
